1 – Part time ASL (American Sign Language) Teacher:
Freedom Academy, an established, accredited charter school in Provo, is seeking a part time Eighth – twelfth grade ASL teacher. We seek applicants who are collaborative, creative, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and compassionate. Salary will be commensurate with experience. 2. Freedom Academy, an established, accredited charter school in Provo, is seeking a full time special education teacher certified with a severe disabilities certification. This teacher will also work with mild moderate students. We seek applicants who are collaborative, creative, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and compassionate. The cafeteria at Freedom Preparatory Academy is hiring for the upcoming 2013-14 school year.
The approximate schedule would be 9:00 – 3:00, 4 days per week and may include work at both the new high school and at the elementary school. Some early morning work may be available to accommodate breakfast.
Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:
Be on time and reliable
Prepare and serve food according to approved procedures
Transport food
Clean kitchen and dishes
Clean cafeteria after breakfast and after lunch
Assist lunch clerk checking out students
Attend staff meetings and trainings
Be able to communicate in English
Maintain a current food handler’s permit
Follow and document food safety procedures
Be courteous and helpful to students and staff
Do your part to promote good health and nutrition throughout the school
Some training will occur the week of August 19, 2013. School starts the following Monday on August 26.
