Connect Curricula to student development and cultural background.

During our Cinderella unit, students decorated shoes to represent their culture and presented to the class.

During our study of Syllables, students counted the syllables in everyone names. This related  the concepts to each student.

Pictures of each student were included in the syllable activity to help diverse learners complete the activity.
